I was never keen on spending time on doing my hair, for years I just did the bare minimum, shampoo, condition and brush my hair, then the pandemic happened and I had more time to play around with styling my hair and further honing on my makeup skills.
But during the 3rd week of lockdown and I found myself in my bathroom, holding a pair of cutting scissors when I decided to cut my waist length hair at 2 in the morning. A few days later, I noticed my usual top bun and ponytail looked rather sad but fortunately Insert Name Here was kind enough to send me a set of their bun and ponytail hair extensions.
INH hair extensions are made with Japanese synthetic fiber which very much closely resembles real hair (IT FEELS LIKE REAL HAIR TOO!), and all of their extensions are heat resistant for up to 400 degrees which means you can use a hair straightener or hair curler on them, they're also super lightweight and they can last years with proper care and handling.
Before I sent the Sammy and Brit bundle, I was color matched by Brittney (@brittneykitty) all I had to do was send her a photo of my current hair color and she matched me perfectly!. A few weeks later my set arrived, at first I was reluctant since it looked complicated but boy was I wrong---IT WAS SO EASY to put them on.
The Sammy, one of their popular extensions is what I like to call the "bun perfector"
After my rather rash decision to cut my hair, my top bun was just not the same.It looked like a deflated dumpling, but Sammy saved the day.
All I had to was put my hair in my usual top bun and then attach Sammy by securing it, using the 4 insert combs it has and securing it even further with its built in drawstring, I went the extra mile one time and used 4 bobby pins but you don't have to do that since the insert combs and drawstrings already secure it safely in place.
Now on days wherein I had zoom meetings where I had to look more put together, I used the Brit pony, which saved me from looking like a bald egg during said meetings.
Brit is probably my favourite out of the two that they had kindly sent me, it's a beautiful long pony with soft loose curls at the end. I love how it wasn't heavy on the head but still gave me the volume I needed since I currently have shorter hair.
It was very easy to use, all I had to do was clip it onto my real ponytail and then wrap it around and secure it with bobby pins (they provide 2 bobby pins with this extension, so you don't have to worry about that part), it also has tiny shorter pieces of loosely curled hair at the top that you can wrap around your hair tie for an even more put together look.
Overall, I'm contemplating on purchasing even more of their extensions because not only are they super good quality, they are so lightweight and are actually quite affordable. I may not wear them everyday since we are still transitioning away from the lockdown life, but they are surely handy on days I want to look to cute and more put together.
